The Nautilus Project is an open music project, founded in 2008. In the past, it widely ranged between nautical themes, atmospheric nature based excursions and postmodern sci-fi-world explorations, but these limitations are increasingly dissolving in favor of more and more overlapping topics. In terms of style, the project is still mainly focused on deep/dub techno, ambient, drone and related genres, while the production methods of pure software synthesis have changed more towards hardware synthesis. Over the years, the music of the project became much more detailed, with an emphasis on the surrounding nature and the profundity of the human being amidst it with various scenarios, including the extensive collection of field recordings and impressions from the forest, into which he wanted to delve much deeper and which in the end laid the foundation for the second music project he started later in 2012 under the name of Forest Roots.

There he acts both as co-founder and producer on the Upper Lusatian music label, where he works under the 'Nemo' moniker in collaboration with his friend Jaymon to express all the music that he has always wanted to create, produce and distribute, especially through the deep interweaving of field recordings and strong references to the mystical depths of the forests and landscapes of his home region. The moniker of 'Nemo' is an insider dedication since the age of 14 and is also linked to The Nautilus Project by the dual meaning of these two words.

In addition to Forest Roots, he previously released music on many different international netlabels such as ZeECc, Ornaments, Hello Strange, Entropy Rec., Confineless Rec., U-Cover, 19th Studio Rec., Eclipse, Red Dye, Arteqcue, Editora Do Porto, Insectorama, Schall and others, whose productions included digital downloads as well as CD and 12" formats.
